Samsung Galaxy S5 और आस-पास

Competition is something which always keep you on your toe and in business industry its a day-to-day activity, as every product needs a market and then customers. Hence Samsung launced its new smartphone from Galaxy's kity... Galaxy S5!

The handset is powered with same chipset as in Galaxy S4....sad? .. but hey, its slightly overclocked from 2.3GHz to 2.5GHz. With this set, it seems Samsung is trying hard to make an impression in US market and really wants to compete with Apple's iPhones. Considering US's fascination with fitness, Samsung unveiled S5 along with a pair of themed watches. The best thing is they attempted to combine the best features of the top-of-the-line fitness tracker and it includes built-in heart rate monitor, pedometer & fitness tracker.

Now keeping Fitness aside, S5 have some other upgrades too. This time 16 megapixel is sharper than its predecessor S4. It is also designed to focus quickly and lets you to blur the foreground or background of an image. Like Apple's, S5 also has fingerprint sensor to use in place of a passcode to unlock the phone or make mobile payments. And like Sony's Xperia Z series, S5 also has splash and dust-resistant feature. An added feature is "kids mode" which allows you hand your phone off to your child without fear that they'll stream from Netflix. While the upsetting thing is S5 picked up few traits from the Galaxy Note 3 and features a leather back.

Now, after its launch people have started calling its features as copying from others; but practically, how far a technology could go to offer you something at an affordable price...that should also need to think. However, problem might be for buyer if any of Samsung's competitors file a lawsuit for its feature claiming as copying from them. Along with S5, Sony also unveiled its Xperia Z2 smartphone and I must say that they both have almost 90% of similarities and choke-full of features. The only thing in Z2 is an exquisite build quality with its glass design. While the Z2 will be available from March and S5 will be available from April.

In short, S5 might entice its current fans to upgrade, while its fitness features could also draw some converts, especially those interested in purchasing a smartwatch to go along with it. Anyways, the budget n necessity also does matter.
