Facebook और Whatsapp का गठजोड़।

Well the deal of $19 million is something which is drawing everybody's attention. Lots of discussion & speculation must have been calculated before cracking this deal, But... what's or could be the Exact or Atleast an Approx reason behind such an expensive deal...? Lets dig into the matter...

As we all know FB started its journey at such time where innovation was the need of time. I'm not denying that its not needed at present, but there were no such medium where you can make friends and interact with the same people who once was your classmate. There was no such medium to chat or speak in frequent way. Ofcourse Orkut and other social networking mediums were there but what FB did and gave, no other medium did. FB just brought an Enigma in social networking. Now there's hardly any person without a FB profile. Right from a student to veterans, all are hooked and linked to each other on FB and overflow of emotions are common these days. Every likes and comments on posts defines a character. FB is now a necessity for social recognition.

So what actually made FB to think about Whatsapp, when they already have such a huge subscriber base...? MZ stated that he just want World to be open & connected... yes, we welcome this thought process but this can't be only reason for such expensive deal..! Looking strategically, it just gives an impression how smartly FB eliminated its one of biggest and toughest competitor. So definitely this deal is only business specific.

Let's look more into this business. FB already have a huge subscriber base, but it do not matches the "cool" app category of any chat app, though they have their own but we all know how we use that. With the advent of modernization, the chat apps are getting more response for social networking than FB and with time there has been a massive rise in Whatsapp's subscriber. At the same time a downward trend for FB because now even BBM is also available on Android/iOS and other chat apps like WeChat/Hike/Viber mushrooming. Since Google's own Hangout is out of race, the only competitor with huge subscriber base is Whatsapp.

Whatsapp has subscribers of 450 million and all are mobile users. Now in a recent survey, it was stated that in near future people logging in to social networking sites from laptop/desktop computers, will be opting more for mobile/tab log-in, as its more handy. And, the major thing is FB's source of revenue which comes mostly from mobile user. So,......yes n exactly, you got it correct.... with this deal, FB just took a smart leap to make a pact in an unusual way..to add more subscribers & eventually more revenue. Hence, the deal is not at all expensive. Moreover, Whatsapp's subscribers are mostly teenagers and in this case FB was losing its appealing factor, so indirectly MZ took a step towards teenagers and made an attempt to eliminate any kind of losses.

Anyways Guys, while we were chatting on whatsapp n FB, these people cracked a great business deal, so gear up now n lets do more chatting. Get an updated whatsapp on Android as the latest version is available on iOS.
